Here's what happens from your first message to the finished garden.
Most landscaping companies in La Rioja don't explain what happens after you contact them. We do — because knowing what to expect is part of a professional service.
The same process, on every job.
Every project we take on — whether it's a garden design, a new patio, a lawn replacement, or a maintenance programme — follows the same four-step process.
You always know where you are. You always have something in writing before work begins. And you have a direct contact throughout.
Free site visit
You contact us — by form, phone, or WhatsApp. We'll get back to you within 24 hours to arrange a convenient time to visit.
We come to your property. We walk the space with you, listen to what you want, and ask questions — about how you use the garden, what's worked before, and what hasn't.
There's no cost for the site visit. There's no commitment. You are under no obligation to go ahead.
What you get from this step:
- An assessment of the space from someone who knows local conditions
- Honest feedback on what's realistic within your budget and site
- The opportunity to ask any questions before committing to anything
Most site visits take 30–45 minutes.
Design & written proposal
Based on the site visit, we put together a written proposal. This specifies the scope of work, the materials to be used, the timeline, and the total cost.
For design-led projects, this step includes the design work itself — the plan is part of the proposal. No work starts until you have reviewed the proposal and given written approval.
What you get from this step:
- A written scope of works
- A fixed cost or clearly defined cost basis
- A realistic timeline for your project
- No verbal-only agreements
Professional installation
Work begins on the agreed start date. Our team completes the project to the written scope, on the agreed timeline.
We work cleanly — surfaces are protected where needed, waste is removed at the end of each day or the end of the job. You shouldn't have to manage us on-site; the written proposal describes exactly what we're doing.
If anything unexpected comes up during the work — ground conditions, hidden drainage, something that affects the scope — we stop and discuss it with you before proceeding. We don't make changes and invoice for them later.
What you get from this step:
- Completed work to the agreed scope
- Clean site throughout and at handover
- Direct communication if anything changes
Aftercare & handover
At the end of the job, we walk through the finished work with you. We check everything meets what was specified. If anything needs adjustment, we address it before we leave.
For planting, lawns, and irrigation systems, we leave you with written care instructions — what to do in the first few weeks, what to watch for, and what to avoid.
After handover, we're reachable by phone, email, or WhatsApp if any questions come up. If something needs attention that falls within the agreed scope, we deal with it.
What you get from this step:
- Walkthrough at completion
- Written care instructions where relevant
- Accessible after the job finishes
How long does it take?
Timeline varies by service and scope. Here's a general guide:
-
Garden maintenance: Starts within one week of agreeing a programme
-
Lawn installation: Typically one to three working days, after site preparation
-
Planting project: One to three days depending on scale
-
Hardscape construction: Three to seven days for a standard residential patio; larger projects proportionally longer
-
Full garden design and build: Depends on scope — we provide a specific timeline in the written proposal
We don't overcommit to start dates. When we give you a date, we work to it.
