Questions about lawn & turf
Neither is universally better. Natural turf is cooler, feels better underfoot, and is better for high-aesthetic gardens — but needs regular watering through La Rioja's dry summers. Artificial grass is low-maintenance, stays green regardless of weather, and suits high-traffic areas well. We'll tell you honestly which we'd recommend for your specific space.
For natural turf, we'd ask you to keep off it for the first two to three weeks while it establishes root contact. After that, light use is fine. Artificial grass can be used within a day or two once the infill has settled.
We give you clear written instructions at handover covering watering frequency, first mowing height, and what to watch for in the first six weeks. The first summer is the most critical — consistent watering through July and August is what determines whether the lawn establishes properly.
