Is your lawn beyond patching?
Most failing lawns in La Rioja have the same problem: they were either laid on poor ground preparation, seeded with the wrong varieties for the local conditions, or left without the irrigation support they needed through the dry months. Patching a lawn that was installed wrong never delivers a lasting result. The right answer — natural turf or artificial grass — depends on your specific garden, how you use it, and how much maintenance you want to do. We'll give you an honest recommendation after seeing the space.
You need a new lawn if your existing lawn is more patch than grass, you've tried overseeding and it comes back the same way every year, your new build came with bare soil where a lawn should be, or you're considering artificial grass for a low-maintenance option.

The work in practice

How a lawn installation works
Site assessment
We visit, measure the area, assess the existing ground and drainage, and discuss how you use the space. This is where we give you a recommendation — natural or artificial — based on your actual situation.
Proposal
We provide a written quote for the recommended option, including ground preparation, materials, and installation.
Ground preparation
This is the stage most rushed jobs skip. We prepare the sub-base or soil correctly — leveling, improving drainage where needed, and treating for existing weeds.
Installation and handover
Turf is laid or artificial grass is fitted, finished, and trimmed. For natural lawns, we give you clear instructions on watering and establishment care for the first six weeks.
What you get
- Ground properly prepared before laying — not just turf thrown down on compacted soil
- Turf variety selected for La Rioja's growing conditions, not whatever is cheapest
- Honest recommendation on natural vs. artificial — not a default to the higher-margin option
- Clear aftercare instructions so the establishment phase goes well
